I love this channel, the videos are very educational

and the style of teaching is on a professional level.

I love everything you are teaching. This is all very accurate and some of the best things you can do as a steward of the land. Minimal soil disturbance, cover crops and diversity. Simple and probably the best approach you can take. Good Luck and many more successes.

This is the best video about agriculture I've watched and understood in the recent past.

Unfortunately, many governments in Africa have such brilliant brains among our population

but, corruption and greed has continued to take center stage to an extent of leaving it

to World Food Programme (WHO) to feed starving Africans. It's such a shame.

synopsis

West African Ghana generates a third of its gross domestic product through agriculture. Nevertheless, the agricultural sector is only to a limited extend internationally competitive. 80 percent of production is in the hands of smallholders, who often lack working capital, financing and distribution contacts. Yields are low, plant diseases and pests cause enormous damage. Further losses occur during storage and transport.

To counteract the problems, the Market Oriented Agriculture Program (MOAP) works with selected value chains and promotes relevant actors - from seed producers and farmers to processors and exporters. The aim is to increase the quality of products and thereby create higher income and more employment along the value chain.

Training in good agricultural practice plays an important role within the MOAP Programme. To increase the reach of these trainings, MOAP produces short films on important topics. The videos reach farmers in remote parts of Ghana via mobile screenings. On the video platforms AccessAgriculture and YouTube the short films are also available worldwide in multiple translations and achieve a reach of several hundred thousand clicks per film.
