Film is a unique tool of communication. It can spark our interest for topics, we usually wouldn't have time for, or that wouldn't have crossed our path. It can illustrate complex topics so vivid and clear that even people with very little formal education immediatly get the idea. It can develop such magic, that we start to re-think our habits, realise our mistakes and maybe even change our behaviour. Film is therefor an indispensable tool for international development cooperation, where this type of thought-provocation is often key – whether in countries around the globe or back at home.
